Swanson was a notorious man killer...she went through men like a sexual tornado.
Hey out there!!! Many of us scan your comments before watching, to discover All actors' names, OR to see if we are likely to enjoy the film. PLEASE type "Spoiler Alert!" before adding your personal opinions! Thanks
susanfaulkner2304, If "all a dream" is the real end of this movie, 😠: Please Type "Spoiler Alert!" first! Now I'll watch it... maybe I shouldn't bother...
So which one was supposed to be bad😂😂 The rest was worth it for the daft maid and the hilariously distracting Hendrick.
Why no ERROL FLYNN MOVIES?
I used to have the book that went along with this series. Absolutely gorgeous
Oh she’s French!! Now I understand why her American accent was quite deep..it was a wonderful movie though. Thank you for sharing, much appreciated❤️
This music is fantastic; wonder how it sounds under a Soviet conductor; this film is great ❤
Thanks for the upload. 🍿
It was Hollywood films like this that went that extra mile when it came to supporting the growing war effort that was on the verge of consuming all aspects of American life in the early 1940's. I imagine this must have been the movie that inspired so many young Americans to join the Army Air Forces; the branch of the military that became the Trump card in ensuring victory in WW2.

Nice one 👍🏴
☑☑☑☑☑✔✔✔✔✔ I really enjoy Gordon Harker's performances, but the screenplay of this movie, to my mind, is pretty poor. Just a 5/10 from me. 2 May 2024
Well, i never expected this film to end the way it did. I really enjoyed it. Great actors.
It was great to see Rex Ingram in a dramatic role.
It's amazing what cameramen could do with the old heavy cameras and equipment, truly skilled artists. It's so easy now, with light cameras and computers, compared to then .
Some inspiration from Crime and punishment?
This was worst better Davis movie ever her great talent was wasted and overshadowed by that imp of a kid and the too popular sister.😮
Where's the Titanic?
I had never heard of this movie before. I'm currently reading Jimmy Stewart's biography titled Bomber Pilot, written by Starr Smith. This movie is mentioned in the book
Chechi porque fulano y grupito mirando ELVisisAiAs Always Escondido creepy celebros for sure = #QuemandoJorgeBrujas
Bogart was sooooo handsome when he was young. Bette Davis the only reason I watched.
Totally agree with you with you guys seanmacleod 100%
It’s bizarre to see Henry Morgan play a deaf and dumb person as he eventually becomes one of the most recognizable face on TV as Colonel Potter on mash
Is that an Iron Cross on Nigel Bruce's uniform? Actually two of them?
Oui!
Television edit of an original RKO release. Few films were still made in New York by the mid-30's. Pretty good cast for a Poverty Row movie.
Whoever you are reading this, please know that God loves you so much that He gave His only son Jesus to die for you. You are loved very much. God bless you.
The reason Deb left Kip at the 1:16:18 mark and Charlotte's mole removed from cheek at the 1:23:16 mark..
Fun fact! The newborn babies in this film are 93 years old now…
SORRY, BUT WHAT THE BAD DAUGHTER DID IS UNFORGIVABLE. THANK GOODNESS FOR HER HUSBAND HELPING OUT.
The Canadians are a bunch of commies
I was really getting into this movie. I thought it was great. But the ending kind of turned me off.
Loved Mildred Pierce, she was great in that. I take what her daughter said about her with a grain of salt as I didn't know her and if the other daughter says different you have to wonder. RIP Joan.
7:05 ...just a drill...but FRIENDLY FIRE ISN'T...!
I love Stanwyck's movies from the 30s.
Such a relief to hear James Mason's voice rather than the annoying AI. THANK YOU. ❤️
I'm 68 when we were young we used to tape buttons to our Chins. And sleep with our chins on the pillow so we could get that kirk Douglas look.
What they had a real Mexican playing a Mexican character!!! Wow greatest western ever!!!
I love it that they use Rossini's "train" piece for the train sequences. Rossini was a slapstick composer.
An America of long ago never to return, setup to fall long before this time.
My fav? The feathery maestro himself -- Ben Birdie !! Yowsa! -- Yowsa! -- Yowsa!
